OUR GOAL
The Larry Meckler Nursery School at CTI has been offering quality education, parenting workshops and special programs for over 30 years. Our school offers each child a loving, secure extension of the family setting.
The curriculum is challenging and exciting, enriching and stimulating. It encompasses both the secular and Judaic world.
Jewish holidays and Shabbat celebrations are interwoven into the program under the direction of a warm, caring and talented Early Childhood staff.
Music and movement programs are taught by specialists. Their expertise adds an enjoyable dimension to our program. The staff is state certified and our state-licensed program is flexible to meet the needs of all children.
At CTI we recognize the diverse needs of parents and their children. If you have special scheduling needs, please feel free to discuss them with our Director. We are more than willing to work toward accommodating your needs.
CTI Nursery School is the place for your child to begin his/her education. Our goal is to offer a positive school experience, so that the enjoyment of learning becomes a way of life for each youngster.

MOMMY & ME

Come play, draw, build and sing with your child. This program is designed for the very young child (ages 12-18 months). We offer a wide variety of engaging age-appropriate activities, including art, music and Parachute Time. Creativity is an essential component of the children’s experience. Learning is informal and takes place in a relaxed atmosphere free of tension.

TODDLERS

2, 3, or 5 days a week
Toddlers are certainly the world’s greatest explorers. At CTI, we provide an interesting and exciting new envioronment filled with equipment and materials for the toddlers. Children will experience music, flannel board stories, sand play, cooking, arts and crafts and group play. Our Staff is trained and experienced to help your child relate to, and trust, adults other than their parents. We take separation seriously and allow for the individual needs of each child. Diapers are always welcome!

Passover Seder

Our Three-Year-Old Program stresses socialization, block building, arts and crafts, cooking and creative movement. We have dramatic play and take time out for large muscle activity in our huge indoor playroom or our well-equipped playground. Once a week our children get to use our library. The Librarian avails herself of many different media in reading. The children are exposed to puppetry, flannel board stories and tapes, as well as storytelling.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN
9:15-2:15am
Monday-Friday
Our Pre-K Program prepares your child for a successful Kindergarten experience. We emphasize socialization and academic and reading readiness including fine motor skills. Our Pre-K day includes building, arts and crafts, cooking, show & tell, Library time, creative movement and dramatic play. Children enjoy science experiments, as well as trips. We also take time out for large muscle activity in our huge indoor playroom or our well-equipped playground.
