Adult Education
Provide programs of interest and educational value to the Jewish community.
Beautification
Responsible for outdoor plantings and other aesthetic concerns.
Catering
Assist in the shopping for/setup of food for Friday night onegs, Saturday morning
kiddushes, and.other special occasions.
Education
Create and administer all policies regarding Hebrew School and Nursery School;
interfaces with parents to explore and develop new and exciting methods of Jewish
education inside and outside the classroom. Help conduct special events and programs.
Fund Raising
Development and organization of methods to bring income to the synagogue.
Funeral & Cemetery
Assist members in arranging for funerals and coordination of cemetery arrangements;
see to meal following funeral service when required.
House & Grounds
Responsible for the physical maintenance of the synagogue: security, improvements, etc.
Library
Maintein the CTI library.
Membership
Welcome and recruit families new to the area into the CTl family, invite potential members
to synagogue activities, do follow-up, and promote member retention.

Men's Club
Men’s organization providing educational, social, and financial assistance to the
synagogue.
Minyanaires
Attend services on a regular schedule so that we have a minyan for members needing to
say kaddish or be on call to make a minyan.
Office Assistence
Help with mailings, covering phones when needed, etc.
Publications
Plan, coordinate, write, edit, and design a monthly CTI publication.
Ritual
Assist and have input into all religious affairs: minyanim. etc.
Sisterhood
A women’s organization providing educational, social, and financial assistance to the
synagogue.
Social Action
Help create programs and arrange drives that support social justice, both
inside and outside the local community.
Sunshine
Help members in times of need or illness. Make hospital and home visits, run errands, etc.
Youth
Coordinate social and educational programs for teens and pre-teens.
Without Portfolio
Be willing to volunteer some time as needs arive.
